Air Cleaning Plants

So, you think the air inside your house is pretty clean? Think again. There are lots of toxins coming from lots of places - cleaning products, paint, insulation, plastics, carpets and synthetic fibers. Indoor air, in general, is a lot less clean than outdoor air. However, there is a lovely (literally green) way that you can help fix that problem and make your air cleaner, helping to curb allergies and asthma too. The answer? House plants! Pretty up every room in your house with a few common house plants and - voila - you and your family are breathing cleaner air. To learn which plants fight which toxins, check out this wonderful little info graphic from Good Magazine. By the way, this magazine is absolutely fab - very thought provoking and dedicated to helping people live better, more thoughtful lives.
