Keeping tabs of the kiddos can be a challenge. I had an experience a few weeks ago while at Disney with my two year old. My husband was there for a conference and I was doing the parks alone with my son. I had rented a stroller, and it had this big, permanent sun shield over the entire top. At one point, I stopped to ask directions to go to a specific attraction, and my son thought it was time to get out. He climbed out, I didn’t see him, and kept on walking. When I got to my destination and leaned over to take him out, he was gone. I don’t need to explain how that felt. I found him a few minutes later in the arms of a park employee, after I had traced my steps. Kudos to Disney for being so on top of things. When I got home, I started searching for dog tags for kids and other types of child ID and safety items. It didn’t take me long to find all of the great products sold at My Precious Kid, including dog tags with parents’ cell phone numbers, fingerprinting kits, shoe ID stickers and disposable bracelets. Needless to say, I will be placing an order. I know summer gets busy with outdoor activities and trips to busy public spaces, and I thought this was definitely worth sharing.
