Bug School

Bugs might gross you out, but they are very interesting little critters to our little critters. If bugs are your young one’s new passion, check out the newly updated Bug Book & Bug Bottle by Hugh Danks, an award-winning entomologist. It allows children to investigate the insect world, turning their backyard into their own observatory.  The small book covers 46 types of insects and the set includes an ingeniously designed, safe plastic bottle perfect for catching and viewing creepy crawlies, then letting them go unharmed. It also has activities and fun but-related projects (if you can imagine) as well as a fold-out bug chart for quick identification, a magnifier to see the critters up close, and a bug explorer’s journal to record discoveries.
