Started in 2007 by an LA mom, SHAINS (which means State How Action is a Necessary Solution), is a company that manufactures bracelets, necklaces, pet collars, hair bands and key chains all designed to work with a system of interchangeable icons and letters. The wearer can choose a product that comes in a variety of colors, and create his or her own messages and statements and change them whenever they want. Kids love ‘em, especially the ones who have a lot to say (what kid doesn’t?) All of the materials used, even the packaging, is eco-friendly. The company also donates a percentage of every sale to environmental organizations.
