Busy, crowded places can be a parents worst nightmare, especially with a toddler. Malls, airports, amusement parks - you name it. We know that in a flash, the unthinkable can happen (and for many of us, it has.) For situations like these, there are a couple of what we call “child/parent” attachment products available that just may put your minds at ease. One is the new Kinderkord, created by Joan Lunden and her husband, and the other is the Eddie Bauer Buddy Harness. KinderKord is a wrist to wrist connection for you and your child which leaves your hands free - while keeping your child physically connected to you. The benefits are that this product gives your child up to three feet of freedom, is well designed and inconspicuous, and of course, is hands-free (it uses wrist bands.) The Eddie Bauer Buddy Harness comes in a number of different animal styles an doubles as a backpack. The parent is able to hold onto the tail of the animal while out and about. Tech-savvy parents may be interested in looking at the BrickHouse Child Locator we featured in March.
