Plain Tales

There is something to be said for letting the imagination run wild. When kids watch a TV show or a movie, this isn’t always the case. The illustrator  and/or director is in control of how the story is presented. But, when both kids and adults listen to stories via audio, the sky is the limit.  Children can visualize their own scenes and characters as a story unfolds, creating their own, unique interpretations. That’s why we really enjoy listening to both new and classic stories from Plain Tales. PlainTales Inc. is a leading independent publisher of children’s audiobooks. Founded in 2007 PlainTales publishes classic and original stories on audio CD or in digital download formats.  Their award winning titles include classic works by authors such as Hans Christian Andersen, Beatrix Potter and Kenneth Grahame, acclaimed re-tellings of classic stories such as Paul Bunyan and Johnny Appleseed and innovative original titles such as Animal Tales: Raccoon, Bear and Coyote.
