Sure, our water is clean for the most part, but many of us have significant amounts of chlorine and other minerals like iron and calcium present in our H2O. In fact, some of us have more chlorine in our town water than what they use to chlorinate some swimming pools. Now, if that doesn’t get your attention… These substances can certainly take a toll on our family’s skin and hair, not to mention causing build up in our showers and tubs. We recently tried out two highly rated, inexpensive filter products from a company called Enviro that really help. One is a water filter that you can attach to any shower (you keep using your own shower head, you just insert the filter in between the pipe and the shower head) and the other is a bathtub water filter called the Splish Splash. It looks like a ball and dechlorinates and softens the bath water so it is much safer for the kids. Both filters last one year.
