Ittybits is a daily, opt-in email for parents of children ages newborn to preteen. Our philosophy is to deliver insightful and inspiring, bite-sized recommendations and tips to time-starved moms and dads alike, on subjects such as product design, travel and entertainment, toys and games, food and nutrition, green living and parenting.
We aim to help parents simplify, enrich and improve the lives of their children, families and communities. Many moms and dads strive to be well informed, stay up to date, and be conscientious about what they do and buy. However, we all know that juggling careers and family (or sometimes just life itself) can leave little time to sift through the countless parenting resources available to find the type of recommendations and ideas that Ittybits delivers to inboxes Monday through Friday. And that’s why we’re here – to make life a little better, a little easier, and definitely more fun!
In the spring of 2008, Ittybits was conceived and developed by strategist, designer and “mom-maven” Kristen Beveridge. After spending the past five years helping a visionary entrepreneur named Dave Balter build a very successful little company called BzzAgent (which is now widely known as the leading Word of Mouth Media Company, and is also not so little), Kristen decided it was time to fly the coop and follow her own path. Having worked in agency-land as a creative director and brand strategist for most of her career, she wanted to take her passion for parenting, design and online sleuthing and make a business of it (and share her great finds with others in the process). Now, along with a team of subject matter experts and contributing editors, she can do just that. She hopes you will enjoy Ittybits as much as she enjoys growing and developing it. Kristen is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon and the Harvard Design School and resides in Maplewood, New Jersey with her husband and son.
