Sweet Potato
Ah, winter. It’s cold and brown (in most of the country.) We’re already itching for warmer weather (come on, anything over 35 would be great) and playtime outside. Well, this isn’t going to solve the problem completely, but here’s a fun Spring-like activity you can do in preparation for the next season. Get yourself a sweet potato the next time you are at the market and pay a visit to preschoolrock.com to learn how to grow a sweet potato plant. It’s a fun thing for kids to do, and the plant is actually surprisingly attractive.
